Surveillance Camera System with 2 CMOS Cameras Description

Nobody else offers such a complete system for such a low price. Just add any regular VCR and/or TV monitor for instant video security anywhere you need it. We provide everything else you need including cameras, cables, mounts, power supplies, mountig hardware, and even cable tacks.

This system combines 2 of our PVMINICMOS Mini Weatherproof Cameras with our matching PVAS040 4 Camera Switcher.

These tiny cameras are great for home or business security applications. They are only the size of a golf ball which makes them easy to mount anywhere. The cameras are available in B/W or Color models, and both models have built-in high sensitivity microphones too so you will be able to hear and see everything that the camera does.

The system includes 2 cameras, but the camera switcher lets you view or record up to 4 cameras on a single TV or VCR. It will display one camera at a time. You can manually choose to display any camera, or you can use the auto-switching feature which automatically switches between the different cameras and displays each one for the length of time that you select.

Installation and setup is easy. Just mount your cameras indoors or outside with the included mounting brackets, then run just one cable from each camera back to the switcher. Two 60 foot cables are included with this package, and you can also purchase additional 60 foot extensions (model EC60) if longer runs are required (up to 180 feet total per camera).

Next you will connect the cameras to the switcher, then plug the switcher into a regular wall power outlet. This single power connection will power the switcher and all of the cameras so you don't even need to have power outlets near the cameras.

Finally connect the switcher to any regular VCR or TV (RCA type video inputs required).

As these are CMOS image sensor cameras, they are not as good of picture quality as our CCD image sensor cameras. CMOS cameras require much more lighting than CCD cameras and we do not recommend CMOS for use in low-light situations. A CCD image sensor version of this system is also available.
