The first video to appear is displayed at:
1 Frame Per Second (1 FPS)

Use the drop-down menu below to compare Frame Rates
of 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 FPS.

CHANGE THE VIDEO FRAME RATE
USING THE DROP DOWN MENU

30 FPS is the normal frame rate we see when watching videos on TV from camcorders, VCR's, DVD's, etc. Security DVRs that can record multiple cameras at high frame rates require much more power than DVRs that record at slower frame rates and lower resolutions.

Before you make a purchase of any DVR, make sure you know the FPS PER CAMERA it can record at AND what FPS it can deliver at the HIGHEST RESOLUTION settings.
